Menu Monday- Last Days of Summer

Busy Busy Busy week here.  I am still limping around with my broken foot. I am getting excited for fall foods.  Hmmmm I can smell my squash and apple casserole baking now. Unfortunately, Summer has hit late in the Pacific Northwest, and since I am all about money saving techniques, heating the house with the oven does not sound appealing.  We had such a weird year weather wise.  We had cool rainy days in July and now it is FINALLY warm.  I even saw on the news tonight that farmers here are worried about their pumpkin crop. I am looking forward to decorating for fall.  Fall is probably my favorite season. But alas, I need to wait a few weeks.   So here is my menu.

Sunday-

Wild Rice Soup- Yep that was an instant packet.  We had an Indian Missions Team meeting at our house, so I did not get my normal crock pot meal in.  Thank God for those instant meals I keep in the cupboard.

Monday-

Oven Fried Fish, leftover mash potatoes,  broccoli

Tuesday-

Chicken Skewers with Peanut Dipping Sauce, Broccoli (use those leftovers so we do not waste)

Wednesday-
Crock Pot Tamale Pie,  Corn  (awesome link to a great blog!!!)

Thursday
Leftovers

Friday
Indian Friday-  Last week Ravi made Lamb Curry...hmmm do we need a recipe???

Saturday -

Apple Spice Muffins for Breakfast
Dinner- Potluck at friends.  We are going to bring and Indian dessert.  Basen Ladoo
